Fair & Open Justice? The struggle continues.

In the shifting political techtonics of the early 21st century, some injustices remain stubbornly ingrained in the fabric of society. The greatest of these is possibly our secretive family justice system presided over by an unelected, unaccountable and unsackable judiciary who operate using a secret code or ‘Omerta’ that ensures they operate in the shadows of our legal system. Ten years ago I hoped to give those parents silenced by the family courts a voice. That voice was Fathers 4 Justice. However, what seemed like a simple, digestible principle based on equality and open justice has instead become a crusade against the dark forces of secrecy and injustice. The rights of parents to family life with their children are as inherent and essential as the air we breath, established before these courts even existed. Fair and open justice belongs to the people, not the judiciary or the government.
